When you use Rummah, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, agency details, and property listing information. If you connect your Facebook Page, we store a page access token to post listings on your behalf.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Rummah platform
- Display your property listings to potential buyers and tenants
- Post listings to your connected Facebook Page and/or Instagram account when you enable auto-posting
- Send you notifications about your listings, leads, and account
- Improve our services
3. Facebook and Instagram Integration
When you connect your Facebook Page to Rummah, we request permission to post content to your Page and linked Instagram Business account. We store your Page access token securely in our database. We only post to your Page when you have auto-posting enabled and create a new listing. You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time from your settings, which will delete your stored access token.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your property listings are publicly visible on rummah.my. We share data with third-party services only as necessary to operate the platform, including Supabase (database), Cloudflare (image hosting), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram posting when enabled by you).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token storage, and row-level security on our database to ensure agents can only access their own data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. When you disconnect a social media account, the associated tokens are immediately deleted. Detailed deletion instructions are available at rummah.my/data-deletion.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information from your dashboard settings. To request data deletion, contact us at the email below.
