Where the data centres are going up, which rail lines open next, where investment is landing and what homes sell for, area by area, on one map. Switch layers and filter them on the map itself. Every figure links to where it came from.
About this map
Data centres are compiled by Rummah from operator, government and news reports, one source per campus or more. Capacity is what each operator has announced, often the full planned build-out, so the figures are not added up as live load. Free to reuse under CC BY 4.0.
Rail lines come from the official timetables on data.gov.my and from OpenStreetMap, with opening dates from the transport ministry and operators. Power plants are from Global Energy Monitor. Investment figures are MIDA's.
Home prices are medians of JPPH recorded sales, the same figures as Rummah's property price pages. An area needs 15 recorded sales before it gets a colour.
