Bandar Madani Bukit Jalil is the Budget 2027 housing item with the nearest date on the calendar: registration for Phase 1 is due to open this Monday, after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim named the project in his Budget speech on 9 October 2026 (PMO Budget speech).
The speech described Bandar Madani Bukit Jalil as a residential area for the rakyat, with amenities including a vertical school. Prices, eligibility rules, unit sizes and the registration channel were not stated in the Budget speech, so buyers should wait for the official project notice rather than treating social media screenshots as application instructions.
That one line sits inside a broader affordable-housing package. The government is setting aside nearly RM1,000,000,000 for projects such as Rumah Mesra Rakyat and Program Residensi Rakyat. Four new housing projects are listed for Kulai in Johor, Nilai in Negeri Sembilan, Paya Rumput in Melaka and Pertang Valley in Terengganu.
In plain terms, this is the part of the Budget aimed at households who are not shopping for a private launch this weekend. Rumah Mesra Rakyat and PRR homes usually come with eligibility rules, income limits or application steps set by the relevant agency. The most useful thing a buyer can do now is collect the documents that public-housing applications commonly ask for: identity card copies, income proof, marital status documents and any state housing registration reference.
RTM also reported the nearly RM1 billion allocation and the four new locations. Bernama separately reported that KPKT will receive RM6,355,000,000 under Budget 2027, up RM266,740,000 from this year, to strengthen housing, public facilities, community well-being and fire-service readiness. That wider ministry number is not the same thing as a house allocation for one buyer, but it tells agents and applicants which ministry queue will be busy next year.
For Bukit Jalil, the important missing facts are still the buyer facts: the price, unit sizes, eligibility, launch channel and whether priority goes to any defined group. Until those are published, Monday is a registration date to watch, not a reason to pay anyone a fee.
